About Jacqui
Gage-Brown

Fractional CMO.
Founder.
Operator.
Working on dreams.

Kia ora, I’m Jacqui.

Mum. Wife. Business owner. Coach. Director. CrossFit addict. Traveller.

Yes, I wear a few hats. And for a long time, so did the business owners I work with. That’s probably why I get it.

With more than 20 years in strategic marketing and business leadership, I’ve:

  • Co-founded and grown an award-winning Waikato marketing agency (now known as Point B)

  • Supported businesses through growth, pivots, restructures and pressure

  • Launched start-ups

  • Successfully exited a business

  • Co-own and operate with my husband Alted Engineering, delivering across the Coromandel and Waikato

I’ve sat at the board table - Sport Waikato for five years, chair of Tairua Surf Lifesaving Club and led the charge for a skatepark in town.

I’ve managed teams. I’ve had payroll weeks. I’ve woken up at 2am thinking about growth.

So, when an owner nods along when I say, “what got us here won’t get us there," I know we're on the same page.

Business is a pursuit.
And I'm wired for it.

One life, let's make sure we're working on our dreams.

If you've spent any time around me, you'll know I'm big on fitness. Fair to say I'm addicted. The lessons we encounter in sport are so relevant to business and life.

You set a goal. You train for it. You show up consistently. You don't skip sessions because you're busy. You review what worked. You adjust. You go again. You back your team. You do the work when it's hard. You fuel yourself with good stuff.

Growth doesn't happen because you say you want it. It happens because there's structure, discipline, and leadership behind it.

That belief is where LifeWOD was born. LifeWOD stands for Working on Dreams - and yes, in the world of CrossFit, it also means Workout of the Day. Both work. Because we're not just dreaming about what's possible. We're working on it.

Delivering from Tairua, New Zealand

I exited Hamilton City life with my husband Bennet, and our three boys at the end of 2019. We haven’t looked back.

You’ll find me training, running, surfing, swimming or lifting something heavy - not all at the same time. I am on the board of Tairua Surf Lifesaving Club and the Chair of Tairua Sport & Recreation Trust.

Community matters to me. Team matters. And consistency does too.

Set the goal. Do the work. Back your people.
Keep working towards that dream.
